I’ve listened to nearly every KG&TLW album multiple times and I don’t think any other lyric has ever caught my ears. The music is full of repetition, though. Just imagine it’s in a foreign language and you’ll be fine.
If you haven't heard it, the most Mario I've listened to in baile funk is MC Pipokinha & MC Madan "Beat do Mário Bros | CAI EM CIMA DO COGUMELO" (Google Translate says "FALL ONTO THE MUSHROOM"), the producers being DJ Gustavo da VS, DJ JEEH FDC & o DJ Gouveia. Lotsa game sounds but the greatest sound effect is our Little Popcorn herself.
MC Madan again, this time playing Fortnite (don't think that counts as retro, but I wouldn't know). MC Madan & MC Kalyu "Fortnite Das Favelas." Producer on this one is DJ Apollo Mix. "Apollo Mix" seems to be the person's *name* as well as vocation. I've never read Decibel Magazine but I remember 15 years ago being told it was plumping something called "Extreme Metal"; Apollo Mix ought to qualify - extreme something, anyway. Rock, maybe? If I can cite such a corny category of artistic composition.
Ha! I thought Camilo and Sanz looked like father and son, with dad about to tell the kid to trim his damn mustache.
